I know it’s late but, I was just reminiscing about when I was first getting started in this whole real estate thang.
I was a single mom, and I used to stay up late at night to learn about real estate. Late night was the only time I could find.
When I get interested in something, I go DEEP. Back then I read every book on real estate I could get my hands on, signed up for all the home study courses, trainings, and seminars. All of it.
I wanted to become an expert overnight!
Some of that stuff really helped, and I learned a lot.
And then some of it just overwhelmed me. It was too much.
Too much info, too much confusion, too much stuff in my head!
Then I’d burn out and get frustrated…
And I’d sink into this slump for a while.
At times the last thing I wanted to do was think about real estate! I’d have all these books and courses, and I knew there was great info in them, but I just couldn’t bear to crack them open.
I’d feel guilty about it and beat myself up...
Late night blues.
So if you’ve ever felt that way you’re NOT alone.
Eventually I figured out why this was happening, and the dangers of relying on “motivation”.
I’ll tell you more about it tomorrow.
Until then you can check out the link below to get access all of my expertise from those all those books, courses, and seminars. Not to mention 20 years of in the trenches experience.
